I wrote this two years ago. He is 17 now with only one year left in high school. My oldest son will be 15 this fall and will begin the 9th grade in high school. We have four more years with him and then he will never again be a full time resident of my household. The idea of that scenario happening today with one of my kids scares the hell out of me.
